Welcome to the Simm

Hello. I would like to thank you for taking the time to look through the USS Havers website. This site is always under construction, with new information being added constantly. Please visit ship info to get some basics about the Olympic class as well as our ship's history to get a brief idea of where the Havers herself has been over the past year. I have a dedicated crew who are constantly surprising me. The action as well as basic chit chat aboard the Havers takes place on our forums (the link is available above) and I would like to extend the invitation for you to read through our adventures. Though the crew can take what seems like a long time to respond at times, the quality of their work is often worth the wait.

I'd like to think the Havers offers some unique oppertunities for prospective role players. Our missions are designed to allow for lots of character development. After all, if the characters themselves aren't growing and changing the story would be boring. Our players are heavily encouraged to offer up plot twists, engage in relationship building with other characters and to provide feedback on future mission ideas. I also encourage players to come up with their own mission ideas, even if they are character centric. To me, it gives us the same personal connection to the characters that I know we all felt when we watched our favorite tv series in the Star Trek universe.

We also offer awards at the close of each mission, some of which are unique to our simm. I'm not a strict enforcer of Bravo Fleet's one post every two week rule because I know that real life takes priority over fantasy, but I do expect that the posts that are provided be descriptive and fairly lengthy. The point of this simm is to have fun while telling captivating stories together.

Another unique quality to our simm is not only are we the only Olympic-class vessel serving in Bravo Fleet, but as it is a medical ship, it calls out to all of the players who have a soft spot for characters in the various medical fields. It provides a safe place to dig deeper into those doctors in their element. I would like to say that the non-medical positions are just as important to the survival of the Havers, after all without a pilot, security chief or engineer, the roving hospital would surely fall apart one way or another. We offer a LARGE variety of positions in both areas of the spectrum.

I encourage you to continue looking through this site, and on to the forums. If you like what you find, I hope you will apply and join us in our adventures.
